Fees

The following are the fees charged by the Ashbud platform when you use the Ashbud platform:

These are fixed protocol fees sent to the Ashbud treasury. Creating an index costs 0.009 SOL. Each rebalance charges 0.005 SOL for the composition update; the individual swap legs within a rebalance carry no additional fee. Solana network transaction fees apply to all on-chain operations and vary based on network conditions.
On every mint, the index creator receives a portion of the total fees, referred to as the "Creator fee". The fee that goes to the Ashbud platform is referred to as the "Protocol fee". Fees are applied to the gross SOL value of the transaction.

Fees are deducted automatically on-chain at the point of signing. On mint, the Protocol fee (0.85%) is sent to the Ashbud treasury and the Creator fee (0.50%) is sent to the index creator's wallet. On burn, the full 0.85% fee is sent to the Ashbud treasury; no creator fee applies to burns. Burn fees are deducted in-kind from the underlying tokens returned to the user.
Performance Fee
When burning index tokens for SOL (the primary redemption flow), a performance fee applies to any realised profit above your original investment principal. Each index creator sets their own performance fee (0–25%) at creation time — this rate is fixed on-chain and cannot be changed after the index is created.

The performance fee is calculated as a percentage (set by the index creator, up to 25%) of the profit portion of SOL proceeds (i.e. the amount by which your SOL proceeds exceed your cost basis). It is charged in a separate on-chain step after all swaps are confirmed. 100% of the performance fee is paid to the index creator. If the calculated fee is below 5,000 lamports (dust guard), no performance fee is charged for that transaction. The applicable fee rate is shown on each index's page before you buy.
Token Swaps
Ashbud does not charge any additional fees for token swaps. Swaps during minting and burning are routed through Jupiter Aggregator and executed at the best available rate. Jupiter's own routing fees (if any) are included in the quoted swap output and are not charged separately by Ashbud.
Notes
None of the Ashbud frontend services charge any fees in addition to those listed above. If you access the Ashbud platform or smart contracts via another interface or platform, you may incur additional fees charged by those interfaces or platforms.
These fees do not include fees charged by third parties that the Ashbud platform does not control, such as fees charged by wallet software or fees charged by the Solana network ("network fees"). Standard Solana transaction fees apply to all on-chain operations and are determined by network conditions, not by Ashbud.
The fees applicable to any transaction are determined by Ashbud's smart contracts. Although fees are displayed in the Ashbud interface as accurately as possible, there is no guarantee that the fee shown will exactly match that charged by the smart contract — for example, due to slippage or rounding.
The Ashbud platform may change these fees at any time, without notice. The current fee schedule will always be reflected on this page.
