Fees

For Investors
Trading fees
Fees are applied to the gross SOL value of each transaction and deducted automatically on-chain at the point of signing. On mint, the Protocol fee goes to the Ashbud treasury and the Creator fee goes to the index creator's wallet.
| Action | Creator fee | Protocol fee | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mint index tokens | 0.50% | 0.85% | 1.35% |
| Burn index tokens | 0% | 0.85% | 0.85% |
Burn transactions also incur a network cost fee for the on-chain swaps required to complete the redemption. No creator fee applies to burns.
For Investors
Performance fee
When burning index tokens for SOL, a performance fee applies to any realised profit above your original cost basis. Each creator sets their own rate (0–25%) at index creation — this rate is fixed on-chain and cannot be changed afterwards.
| Trigger | Rate | Creator share | Protocol share |
|---|---|---|---|
| Realised profit on burn-for-SOL | 0–25% | 100% | 0% |
The fee is charged in a separate on-chain step after all swaps confirm. If the calculated fee is below 5,000 lamports (dust guard), no performance fee is charged. The applicable rate is shown on each index's page before you buy.
For Creators
Creating and rebalancing
Creators pay a one-time platform fee when launching an index, and a small fee each time they rebalance the composition.
| Action | Platform fee | Destination |
|---|---|---|
| Create an index | 0.009 SOL | Ashbud treasury |
| Rebalance | 0.005 SOL | Ashbud treasury |
Both actions also involve Solana network costs (rent for new on-chain accounts, swap fees for rebalance legs) — see Network costs below.
Solana network
Network costs
On-chain actions require payments to the Solana network for rent and transaction processing. These amounts are not collected by Ashbud — they are paid directly to the network and vary with conditions. The total shown in the interface before you sign always includes these costs.
Index creation (Solana rent)
| Index size | Platform fee | Solana rent | Approx. total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 token | 0.009 SOL | ~0.021 SOL | ~0.030 SOL |
| 5 tokens | 0.009 SOL | ~0.037 SOL | ~0.046 SOL |
| 10 tokens | 0.009 SOL | ~0.056 SOL | ~0.065 SOL |
Mint and burn (swap costs)
| Index size | Mint cost | Burn cost |
|---|---|---|
| 1 token | ~0.0001 SOL | ~0.0003 SOL |
| 5 tokens | ~0.0002 SOL | ~0.0007 SOL |
| 10 tokens | ~0.0004 SOL | ~0.0013 SOL |
Rebalancing
| Component | Amount |
|---|---|
| Network cost per swap | ~0.002 SOL |
| Network cost per newly added token | ~0.004 SOL |
Third parties
Token swaps (Jupiter)
Ashbud does not charge any additional fees for token swaps. Swaps during minting, burning, and rebalancing are routed through Jupiter Aggregator and executed at the best available rate. Jupiter's own routing fees (if any) are included in the quoted swap output and are not charged separately by Ashbud.

Notes
None of the Ashbud frontend services charge any fees in addition to those listed above. If you access the Ashbud platform or smart contracts via another interface, you may incur additional fees charged by that interface.
These fees do not include fees charged by third parties that Ashbud does not control, such as wallet software or the Solana network itself. Standard Solana transaction fees apply to all on-chain operations and are determined by network conditions.
The fees applicable to any transaction are determined by Ashbud's smart contracts. Although fees are displayed in the interface as accurately as possible, there is no guarantee that the fee shown will exactly match that charged by the smart contract — for example, due to slippage or rounding.
Ashbud may change these fees at any time, without notice. The current fee schedule will always be reflected on this page.
